LegendofLinc is the alias of Christian, an R&B artist whose music bridges the gap between heartfelt storytelling and smooth, modern production. Drawing from personal experiences and raw emotion, his lyrics explore themes of love, forgiveness, resilience, and personal growth. With soulful melodies Christian creates music that resonates deeply.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Christian was exposed to a variety of musical influences from a young age. His passion for music came from his grandparents, who both were professional gospel musicians that toured nationwide and his uncle, who was a profound hip-hop lyricist in the early 2000s.
Growing up in the inner city helped Christian develop his street instincts at a young age, yet his opportunity to transcend that environment awaited him on the other side of town…The San Fernando Valley. He studied musical theater in his youth from 2003 - 2010. During this period, he would simultaneously hone his skills in singing, acting and dancing.
By the time high school came around, Christian stepped away from the arts to pursue his passion for basketball, which ultimately led him to receive a full-ride scholarship to play college basketball. While in college, Christian started developing his passion for music again. Soon enough, he put a halt to his basketball career and decided to fully invest into becoming an artist.
From his earliest projects to his latest releases, he has continued to hone his craft and grow a loyal following, all while staying grounded in his mission to use music as a tool for connection and inspiration.
But despite his rising success, Christian remains grounded and focused on his passion for music. He sees his art as a way to connect with people and make a positive impact on the world, and he hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams and pursue their passions.
With his unique sound and undeniable talent, Christian is poised to become one of the most exciting artists of his generation.
In 2018, Christian released his first concept EP, Kingdom Hearts, which received exceptional reviews by his peers.
In 2019, he completed his 1st unofficial concept LP, Living Art, which has yet to be released.
In 2021, Christian released a generous sum of 45 total songs, which included EPs such as NoMoreCoachella and Rookie of The Year. These early records would prove to be the foundation of LegendofLinc's artist development.
Christian’s latest projects are a part of a series of EPs. 0.0.0 and 0.0.1 showcase his evolution as an artist, blending raw emotion with the smooth, intimate sound he’s known for. Both projects mark a new chapter in his storytelling, capturing the heart of modern R&B with honesty and depth.
